Pre-production

We refine your project’s scope and story through scripting and storyboarding. Then, we coordinate all production details, from call sheets for live-action shoots to style frames for animation.

Production

In the production phase, our team is actively creating the core components of your video. We are either on-site capturing live-action footage and photography or developing motion graphics and animations in the studio.

Post-production

In post-production, we bring all the elements of your project together. We meticulously edit the footage, apply color grading, mix the audio, and integrate any motion graphics to create the first draft.

Revisions

The final stage begins when you receive the first draft for your review. We’ll implement your feedback to guarantee the video aligns with your goals, and then deliver the finished product. And that’s a wrap!

What format does your company recommend for exported video production files?

The final approved video will be exported and rendered into a mp4 file or a file of your preference. We can output in any format and in all dimensions, to align with the final use of the product. For platofrms such as social media, large screen events and broadcast. If we don’t get directions to export differently we optimise our projects into HD or 4K mp4 files.

Does your company own the raw video production footage and project files?

Like other video production companies, raw footage and video production files are the IP of our company, Studio Orange, while the client’s business owns the edited video production file. We don’t typically handover raw files, but when requested our agency does hand them over for a handover fee.

Outside of Perth, can your company produce a video production in a regional, national or remote location?

Yes, our Perth video production and animation studio has partnered with commercial videographers and photographers across Australia. We happily coordinate national, regional and remote video production shoots. Our teams can also travel to locations if required.

How long will your company keep my raw video production footage stored?

Our company stores raw video production footage and project files on our servers for up to 6 months after completion of your project.

When your business receives your first draft video production, our agency invites you to provide feedback. We want to know how you think we can make your project even better!

We prefer to receive feedback in a consolidated list referring to timecodes and screenshots of the video production. It’s important we receive one list of feedback per feedback round to ensure we don’t miss anything. We include two rounds of revisions in our video production service, which allows your business to be involved and tweak the video to satisfaction. It also keeps the feedback rounds reasonable without blowing the project out of budget.

Either our agency or you can write the video production script, otherwise we can collaboratively help each other draft a script. Our company has a creative studio/office located in the heart of Northbridge, where our team comes to work. Our office location, has a studio facility for creative video or film shoots. We have different options in terms of backgrounds and set ups. If your video production is in need of a larger studio, we hire our partner studios located across Perth. Each studio has its own character and benefits depending on the type of shoot.
